How is everyone doing , hope you are all doing well , we have been busy as we have a few announcements to make so here we go:

I have been wanting to expand Rocker Baby .Inc with a collection of Accessories for a while now , today we added some amazing accessories in our shop at www.rockerbabyinc.com also we have new Fall/Winter Tops and pants/ loungers that we have added to the web site
Accessories are so much wanted by any mom or baby. Today I will be taking time to write about one of my favorite photographer Vanessa Diel . As a fashion designer ,I always look for unique an amazing photography , i have found quite a few which work I have admire for a while , I got to see Vanessa's work when she came to Get a few things for her beautiful daughter from our web site www.rockerbabyinc.com , I have never , and mean never come across such an amazing talent That God has blesses her with , I have never look at a picture and felt so peaceful , as soon as I got the pics today , I drooped everything that I was doing in my studio and rushed to my computer to check them out , I was completely speechless , and still don't have words to describe her work .

DESIGNER FABRIC SCRAPS

So , I am De-stashing my studio from all the fabric scraps, it is so much , I just don't know what to do with them , well in a way I do , I just don't have the time , I have some stored away for some amazing projects , but not all so I need them to go , that is why they are for sale at www.rockerbabyinc.com , the pieces are generous and fantastic designer prints , which are the ones that I like to work with, Here is the answer to why I do not get along with my fabric scrap?
You all must think that I must be out of my mind ,,here it goes , I DO NOT OWN A ROTARY CUTTER AND THE CUTTING MAT,,,,,,Why I don't , I do not have a clue , most of you probably will not believe what I am about to say , everyone thinks that I get my designs from patterns , the answer to that is NO, I do not know how to cut standard patters, I create my own designs and transfer them directly to my fabrics, all sizes and numbers are in my head, and i just go from there , I completed my Fashion college as a fashion designer in Rome , Italy using patterns was a big NO NO, I always asked why , by using a pattern you are limiting yourself from making the perfect fit for adult or children's clothing , the usage of patterns is done in major mass produced clothing . Handmade items are considered Couture which says NO to patterns. Most of the Couture clothing are done by hand but now days most of us have a helping hand SEWING MACHINES the best tool ever fo MOMS.

TRADEMARK or COPYRIGHT?

These questions usually arise when you have a shop and you are selling your designs and your creation, what it means is that you are the one that designed and made the item ,the label has your name on it , when you work for a major company and you are working as a designer you are bound to submit your designs to you boss which approves all for manufacture ,after it has completed it's sampling steps , your name will not be on those designs as you are working for someone else .

Why am I discussing this , pretty simple , if you plane to have your own shop and carry your designs you need a COPYRIGHT or TRADEMARK which is very crucial to be protected under federal law of COPYRIGHT infringement or TRADEMARK, some sellers like to make a living on having to copycat others , which is so unfair to other designers that really work hard to make it , I recently spoke to one of ETSY's attorneys as the case of COPYRIGHT infringement came across while I was browsing shops that I have always been suspicious of , I am asked to submit all necessary paper work to ETSY so they can take legal action , do I want to go that far?

The answer is YES, why? because I have spoken to this seller 6 times and so very kindly asked her to please remove the design and the pattern that she is selling as her creation , and she has refused to do so, what are my choices on this matter , I have none , we at , rockerbabyinc ARE COPYRIGHT PROTECTED , and can take LEGAL action by the law to have this matter solved , BUT I am a sucker for moms as I am a mom and with 3 boys , and I work extremely hard to maintain THE originality OF OUR DESIGNS , and do the best to my powers to take care of all costumers and their orders , but I don't see any other way .

So , if you are in a verge of a breakdown because someone has copied you work please do take action as it is your work and your creation and no one can or should steal that from you , I got my COPY RIGHT/TRADEMARK at LEGAL ZOOM. Fantastic prices .

So next time your , when you make a purchase , make sure that you know what you are buying and if it is the sellers creation , or copycat, you are going to ask ,how do you know , well as a designer i like to create and list new items all the time ,it is the consistency of that shop, and how often they update with new items and also check for a pattern change on the design , if the new designs are the same but with a sight change check it out and see if you can look around to find the same design ,

I just want to say to these shops On ETSY, (which they have no control over )

"SHAME ON YOU FOR DOING THIS ISN'T .THERE A STOP LINE THAT YOU ALL CAN NOT CROSS ? , ISN'T THERE ENOUGH FASHION MAGAZINES OR INSPIRATION THAT CAN INSPIRE YOU WITH YOUR DESIGNING ? GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU , YOUR LACK OF CREATIVITY WILL BE NOTICED VERY SOON.

I would love to hear your thoughts and comments in this matter and what kind of legal action did you all take ,

BACK TO THE REAL WORLD

OK , i have been gone for tooooooooooooo long , time to come back to the real world , to tell you all the truth , i have lost my mind , today i was expecting the USPS to show up for their pick up, i waited all day , my husband took the boys to the park , and i was still waiting for the pick up , so it was 5:30 pm and still no pick up , i call the post office but no one picked up :( i call my husband and told him that the USPS never showed up , i was very upset , the only thing i heard was laughing , :( well my husband let me suffer all day thinking that the USPS was going to show up , and after a good laugh he told me : Oh , Honey It is MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND :

Hahahahah that was not funny:( i have lost my mind ,

Anyways , last year we were featured on LMNOP and amazing on line Australian Magazine very hip very funky , i love this magazine , it features a lot of cool designers , very talented , their new issue just came out it is free , and you will enjoy it so much ,

Before i forget , thank you so much to all of you that are showing your support and love for us ,and i want to give a tip on that little girl that was on the banner of my blog , she is the beautiful daughter of one of my costumers which is an excellent photographer , i have no luck with girls we only make boys so after 3 boys i gave up .

NEW BEGINNING

This is so great , we are so exited to have the opportunity to create our own web site, which is fantastic , I have to keep a blog & news to what does happen behind closed doors in our studio, and believe me it is such fun , every one ( only my boys ) like to design all sorts of things . for some of you that don't know us , we are the team of rockerbaby , we used to be on Esty, and i am sorry to say but we where not happy with them , i wish i could explain everything but is a long story and not a happy one , i just hope that Etsy takes care of what is really left of it .

Anyways , i am so happy our new web site looks fantastic, you all have to go an check it out,my dream , a drop SIZE MENU, yessssssssssss:)

i have made for summer this fabulous wrap around skirts, you have to skirts in one , and they
are completely adjustable to the waist so as your child grows they will always have the right fit , they have straps and you can tie them in front, back , or even on the side, o yaa , reversible too, and how about our fantastic reversible tops i am adding pics:)
